Type and talk
Research the way type gets spoken, and how this relates to its form. Lots of freedom, lots of possibilities. Do it.

Is a typeface too stiff to express our oral nuances? Would there be more possibilities? Research typical aspects of speaking, and research the shortcomings of typefaces, due to conventions which arised the last centuries. Take one fascinating aspect of talking, which is at the moment hard or impossible to express visually. Find a convincing typographic solution for that problem. This can result in for example a typeface, but it can also end up in a single piece of typography (which is not a whole font). It's up to you.

Warm up for the workshop already now, and join the brainstorm session.
